With IPL, it seems to be the more targeted approach. IPL shots are administered precisely like throwing darts. Whereas with SHR, multiple pulses of light are fired over the area to be treated, akin to blindfolding someone, facing a dartboard, and throwing multiple darts in the dark. When compared to SHR, though it may seem quicker for larger areas, the skin may be subjected to unnecessary light and heat energy where hair is not present, which may damage the skin. IPL gives you more control over the situation.
